Lillie Hackett Obituary

Lillie E. Hackett, 95, of Scottsbluff, died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012 at her home.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel with Stanley Morrison and Edwina Carlson officiating. Interment will be in Antioch Cemetery in Seligman, Missouri at a later date.
A memorial has been established to Prairie Haven Hospice. Friends may call at the funeral home between 2 to 8 p.m. Friday. Tributes of sympathy may be left at www.dugankramer.com
Lillie was born June 28, 1916 in rural Minatare, to Eugene and Maud (Richards) Townsend. She made her choice to serve the Lord in her youth. She was married to John W. Hackett Sept. 9, 1940 in Gering, making their home in Rawlins, Wyo. They lived in Arizona and Missouri before she came to Scottsbluff to live with her sister ten years ago.
Survivors include her brothers, Raymond Townsend, Scottsbluff and Bert Townsend of Powell, Wyo.; sister, Fern Townsend, Scottsbluff; sons, John Lee Roy (Leisa) Hackett, Washburn, Mo., Ralph Dean (Lorinda) Hackett, Bentonville, Ark. and Richard Ray (Lorelei) Hackett, Washburn, Mo.; 16 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Preceding Lillie in death were her parents, husband, three brothers, two sisters and a grandchild.
