Patricia Ann Kronberg Clark
September 1, 1935 - August 1, 2025
Patricia Ann Kronberg was born September 1st, 1935 on the Kronberg Homestead west of Scottsbluff. She attended Victory Hill School which had only eleven grades, kindergarten through tenth grade. She then attended Sunflower High School and graduated in 1953 as class valedictorian. Pat then attended summer school at Scottsbluff Junior College earning 12 credit hours and then began her teaching career that fall at Carter Canyon (a two teacher school) where she taught grades kindergarten through third grade for two years. She then taught at Cedar Valley School and Mitchell City Schools.
In June of 1957 she was married to Terry Clark of Hemingford. They were married for 25 years. To their union a daughter, Cathy Ann, was born.
From 1953 to 1963, as well as teaching full time, she attended summer school and night classes to receive her Bachelor of Science in Education Degree in May of 1963 from Chadron State College, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
In 1963 she returned to Scottsbluff with her family where she taught in the Scottsbluff public schools from 1963-1980. During this time she received her Master's Degree and also an administrative endorsement from Chadron State College.
In 1980 Pat was employed by the Gering Public Schools as principal at Lincoln Grade School for eleven years. She was then transferred to Northfield Elementary and was principal there until her retirement in 2002. Her total service to public education in Nebraska was 49 years.
Pat was a member of NSEA, NEA, SEA, NAESP, GEA, Delta Kappa Gamma and Phi Delta Kappa. She served as secretary for the United Way and was a lifetime volunteer at Regional West Hospital and Treasurer for two years. She also served on the NE Professional Practices Commission and the NE state Accreditation Committee. She was also a mentor for the teammates program for five years. Pat was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Scottsbluff.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Hazel Kronberg, former husband Terry Clark, two sisters, Colleen Acker and Mary Jo Ellis, and her brother Stephen Kronberg.
She is survived by her daughter Cathy Ann Clark Farmer and her son in law David Farmer, granddaughters Julie Farmer Aboujeib and Melissa Farmer Emino, her great grandsons Owen Aboujeib and Connor Emino and her great granddaughter Eleanor Emino.
