Phyllis and Gail were both the very best of friends to my parents (Ev and Dorothy Johnson), and were beloved by my siblings, myself, and all they came in contact with in Kimball and Dix. Lots of fond memories, especially when a man gave us a pineapple at Oliver Lake, of which Phyllis tossed in the lake after he left. It "might have something in it" Phyllis said. My prayers are with her family, and now Phyllis and Gail are together again! Love, Jeff Johnson

Growing up in Dix, NE with Phyllis and her girls was a pure delight. She held a special event at her rural home which provided me my first exposure to chili soup. This dear lady will be missed. Susan, email me.

Phyllis could light up a room with her glorious smile. She was an amazing lady. My deepest sympathy goes out to her family. She will be greatly missed.

Phyllis was an amazing person. I had an opportunity to care for her, and she was such a blessing to me. She became someone I cared very much about and a friend to me. My heart goes out to her wonderful family. God bless her as he has received one of his glorious children into his kingdom.
