Frances Winston Obituary

Frances "Frankie" McIlwain Winston, 79, of Starkville, passed away August 15, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born July 28, 1946, she was the daughter of the late D.W. and Allie McIlwain. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Bobby Winston; children Wayne (Lori Ann) Carpenter, Monti (Jason) King, and Robbi (Jerome) Lepard; grandchildren Chloe (Casey) Morgan, Owen King, Isaac Lepard, Micah King, Allie Lepard, Quinn Lepard; and great-grandson Lincoln Morgan.
Mrs. Winston worked as a hairdresser for more than 36 years and faithfully served her churches through teaching and ministry. She was a member of Bridgeway Church.
Graveside services were held August 23, 2025, at Memorial Park Cemetery, Starkville.

So sorry to hear about Frankie! I remember her working at my parents beauty shop, she stayed so long she actually became family! She had the most contagious laugh, the funniest, craziest personality... you never knew what she would say or do next. She loved her family and her friends like they were family too. Rest in peace Frankie!
