Harvey Thompson Obituary
Born in Jackson, Tennessee, Skip was a U.S. Army veteran who served as a tactical circuit controller until his medical discharge in 1979. He later worked in law enforcement and security, retiring in 2016. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved farming, softball, hunting, and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Joyce Thompson; sons Timothy (Jennifer) Thompson and Kevin "Bo" Thompson; sisters Sherri Kutch, Karen Cruz, and Sheila McCrory Desrochers; Step children Eric Bridges, Kansas, Lori DeMoss(Craig) of Texas. grandchildren: Ethan Humphreys, Emma, Gabriella and Samuel Thompson, Ariel Bridges, Ashley, Courtney and Joshua Jarvis; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dementia Society of America or the Alzheimer's Association.
