Hillary Rendon

1969 - 2025

Hilary Harder Rendon, age 56, passed away August 28th, 2025. Hilary was born in Starkville, Mississippi on July 30, 1969 to Mary Ann and the late Jack Harder. Hilary graduated from Starkville High School before receiving a degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She married Andrew Rendon on August 1, 1992 and went on to have their son Andrew Kyler Rendon (1993) and daughter Sarah Rendon (2001). While on military active duty, they lived in Bruckberg, Germany and Fort Rucker, Alabama. She returned to Starkville, Mississippi in 2004 with her family, where she started, owned, and operated Starkville Physical Therapy for nearly 20 years. After a long, successful career, Hilary was happy to retire in 2023. She loved to spend time with her family, no matter where, and enjoyed reading, swimming, and wielding her green thumb. She'll be remembered for her passion for others, extraordinary uniqueness, and unmatched courage. Hilary was preceded in death by her father Jack Harder, uncle Russ Morton, and brother-in-law, Del Rendon. Hilary is survived by her mother, Mary Ann Harder; her husband, Andrew Rendon; her children, Kyler Rendon and Sarah Rendon; her daughter-in-law, Mica Rendon; her brothers, Jay Harder and Steele Harder; her nephew, John Harder III; and a large but exceptionally close extended family. A public visitation followed by a funeral service for close family and friends will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd at Welch Funeral Home beginning at 10:00AM."
