It has been almost 10 years now and time to do what I was unable to before. Barbara and I grew up like sisters. Whenever and wherever we were together there were hours of endless laughter and memories. She was about 3 months older than myself. So, she taught me all about life whether I was ready or not. She felt it was her duty to her "younger" sister. Although I never made it to New Jersey we shared hours of reminiscing and laughter often on the phone. I miss those calls so much!

We, as humans, always think time will heal our wounds of losing someone dear to us. It does get a little easier and hurts a little less but we still feel the loss. Barbara was bigger than life and meant so much to so many. Gone way too soon. Vanya con Dios Sweet Barbara!!!

From The Zimmerman family;Ray,Joseph and Libby to everyone that took the time to reach out in any way shape or form, we greatly appreciate all the love, prayers & out pouring of love everyone showed for Our Beautiful Wife and Mother.We ALL lost b/c she loved us all-her family meant the world to her & whether you were blood or not she considered you family.WE want to thank everyone for taking the time to remember her.Words can't express our gratitude for all the generosity, love, prayers,flowers, baskets,& most of all the TIME you took out of YOUR schedule to be with us. We love you all and thank you from the bottom of our hearts. As mom would say;"We Tripped The Light Fantastic" & anyone who was lucky enough to be in her presence certaintly did! Mr. Z, Libby and Joe -
I wish there were words that could take away all the hurt and pain you must feel from your incredible loss. "Mrs. Z" always treated me like family and always extended some true "southern hospitality" whenever I was invited to stay over and I will never forget the kind-hearted and loving person that she was. Her passing will be hard to endure but it is my hope that you may all find comfort in the beautiful memories she leaves behind. May she rest in peace.
