Charles Prestifilippo Obituary

Charles Prestifilippo, 95, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 6, 2025. He was born in Jersey City to the late Concetta and Giovanni Prestifilippo and was a long-time Jersey City resident prior to moving to Bayonne. He was a truck driver prior to retirement.
Charles was a devout Catholic and parishioner of St. Michael's Church, Jersey City, where he was a dedicated volunteer for countless parish functions and served as a Eucharistic Minister.
Charles was predeceased by his beloved wife of 61 years, Florence Prestifilippo (nee: Jurkiewicz), in 2017. He is survived by his loving daughters, Jane Napier, and her husband, Thomas and Anne Adamson, and her husband, Kevin; his cherished grandchildren, Thomas Napier, Tracy Napier and Mark Napier, and his fiancée, Alicia; his adoring great grandson, Collin Napier; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four sisters and two brothers.
The funeral will be conducted by Bayonne Memorial Home, Inc. on Thursday, July 10, 2025. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael's Church in Jersey City at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will be private. Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Condolences may be received at bayonnememorialhome.com.
