BERNADETTE MCKINNEY Obituary
Bernadette McKinney passed away on February 17, 2023 at the age of 70 years. Bernadette dedicated her life to teaching and tutoring mathematics and creating high school curriculum for Allen and Lovejoy ISDs until she retired in May 2018.
Bernadette is preceded in death by her parents, John “Jack” and Mary Helzlsouer. She is survived by her sisters, Mary Margaret, Theresa, Nora, Margaret Rose, Louise, Barbara, Claire, and Celine; her daughters, Sarah, Claire, and Amelia; and her grandchildren, Helen, Sebastian, Kalinda, Vaiana, and Thien.
Rosary will be Thursday, February 23, 7 - 7:30 p.m., with visitation 7:30 - 9 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. Funeral mass will be Friday, February 24, 10 a.m. at St. Jude Catholic Church.
The family welcomes donations to the Center for Excellence in Education to honor Bernadette's memory.
