I didn't know Nadene, but I do know this that she was: The last surviving sibling of the most decorated soldier of these United States of America. I wished I could've met her just like I wished I could've met her brother Audie. She should be honored right beside Audie in my opinion, although I'm sure she would've disagreed with this statement. I make that statement for the simple fact that if it wouldn't had been for her existence in this life that these United States of America and the world wouldn't have had the opportunity again to experience the presence of what just one plain simple down to earth human being can achieve in this life and in pursuit of what they believe in. Nadene may Our Lord hold and embrace you as you enter his Kingdom in Heaven.

My heart goes out to Sharon, Sandra, Rhonda, Joe, Ricky and Kelly! I just heard of Nadene's passing today and I am so sorry that I haven't visited with her since I left Princeton over 30 years ago. I truly loved her and missed and thought of her over and over since then. God bless and be with you all!

Nadine was always there for Farmersville and we appreciated her warm smile and sense of humor. Her straight forward attitude made everyone love her talks.

Nadene is alive today and safe in the arms of Jesus, her Lord and savior. I know there was a great rejoicing by those of her family who went before. We will miss her sweet smile and gracious friendship. We have been so blessed to have known her.
