SANDRA WOOLSEY Obituary
Sandra Joan Brown Woolsey, 70, of Anna, Texas, passed away on September 26, 2021.
She was born on December 3,1950 in McCamey, TX, to Laverne Renshaw Brown and George Brown. Sandra worked as a Distribution Manager for Sears & Roebuck, Mervyn's, and Wal-Mart.
Sandra grew up in McCamey and enjoyed horseback riding and pitching for her high-school softball team. She loved to spend her weekends outdoors with friends, trail-riding and four-wheeling. Sandra was widely known for her friendly and sweet personality.
She married Thomas Woolsey in 1969 and lived in McKinney, later moving to her property in Anna with her two daughters where she built her home, doing much of the work herself. Sandra prided herself on teaching her daughters to be strong, independent women.
Sandra is survived by daughters, Sandy Woolsey Adams and Dusti Woolsey Diggs; grandchildren, Dakota, Jeremiah and Jared Adams; siblings, Wayne, Gary, Calvin, and Deborah Brown.
Sandra Woolsey is preceded in death by her parent, Laverne and George Brown, and brother, James Brown.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
