Ann Debnam Obituary

ANN MARTIN DEBNAM Hannah Jolynn Martin Sisson, age 72, of Rocky Point passed from her earthly life to her eternal rest on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at her home. She was born December 16, 1948 in Pender County, the daughter of Edward T. and Mary Rose Lewis Martin. In addition to her parents, Jolynn was preceded in death by a twin son, Richard Edward Sisson. Jolynn is survived by her husband of 52 years, Stanley Sisson; son, Robert Sisson; brother, Merle Martin and his wife, Jennifer; niece, Beth Anne Driggers (Alex); great nieces, Bella and Bekah Arnold; and great nephew, Travis Fisher Driggers. Jolynn was a kind and caring lady who loved her family. Chatting with family and friends was a favorite pastime of Jolynn's. Jolynn's presence in our family circle will be greatly missed. Due to health concerns in our country today services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Psalm 30:5 Condolences may be sent to www.quinnmcgowen.com. A service of Quinn McGowen Funeral Home of Burgaw.
