Antonio "Nino" Campana

Wilmington, NC - Antonio "Nino" Campana, 74, of Wilmington, North Carolina, died March 5, 2021, at home surrounded by his family. He was born on March 22, 1946 in Crotone, Italy, the son of late Pasquale Campana and Angelina Campana. He was the youngest of 6 siblings. On March 6, 1966, he married Caterine Varano.

Antonio, with his wife and 3 children, moved to Rome, New York from Italy in 1975 and eventually settled in Wilmington, North Carolina where he was the owner and operator of Tony's Automotive for 21 years. He is survived by his wife Caterine Campana; his children, Pat Campana (Jennifer), Massimo Campana (Krista), Maria Delaney and Tammy Campana; his 6 grandchildren, Dominic, Massimo, Katie, Mollie, David, and Christopher who fondly referred to him as "Papa".

Since Antonio's passing, the family has been at the house, supporting each other, sharing memories, and celebrating his life. There will be no formal funeral services.
