Barbara Nailor Obituary
She was born in Brooklyn, NY, May 27, 1947, daughter of Mary Edna Brown and the late James Brown.
She was a graduate of Williston High School, class of '65. She attended Knoxville College in Tennessee and graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a degree in Chemistry.
Ms. Nailor was affiliated with the Pebble Creek Christian Church in Goodyear, Arizona.
She was a member of Gamma Phi Delta Sorority. She was also the member of numerous social and voluntary organizations, including the Metro Phoenix Arizona public school system.
Surviving are her two daughters, Tracy Nailor and Sultana Nailor. Her mother Mary Edna Brown; brother, Eugene (Barbara) Baldwin; sister, Yvonne Smith; eight grandchildren, Asia Heath, Zoë Heath, Tirzah Heath, Kelaiah Heath, Wesley Heath, Caleb Heath, Saige Nailor and Bryce Mattox.
A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2007, at Donald Trimble Mortuary, 1876 Second Avenue, Decatur, GA, officiated by the Reverend Helen Branch.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Barbara Brown Nailor Fund at the Bank of America.
The Brown / Nailor family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to their close friends and extended family members for all their prayers and acts of kindness shared with them during this time of need.
