I'm so very sorry to hear of Uncle Charlie passing away, just when the years between when we last met had been gapped. He was a good friend to my mother, Betty Brickle Jacobs, and my grandparents George and Letha Mae Brickle. My cousin Jackie Amerson Bowden just reminded me of the fun we had driving with Uncle Charlie in his Corvair.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all,

Jackie Amerson Bowden

Just wanted you to know how sorry I am to hear of "Uncle Charlies" passing. Our family, the kids, knew your brother as "Uncle Charlie" as he was a friend of our families. (George Brickle, Clyde Amerson and Betty Brickle) His experiences in the marine corp and out have been the discussion of many a family outing. Our prayers and thoughts are with each of you.
