Charlie Roberson Obituary
Mr. Roberson was a resident of South Florida, since 1948. A general contractor of residential homes, specializing in additions and remodeling, his reputation in the industry was impeccable – producing quality work with the utmost honesty and integrity.
He was predeceased by Irene (April, 2001), his wife of 41 years; and a daughter, Linda. Mr. Roberson is survived by daughter, Barbara; sister, Betty Jones of Kilmarnock, VA; brother, John of Belize; brother-in-law, Hal Langley of Wilmington, NC; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Mr. Roberson was a member of the Florida Elks Lodge 948 where he also served as trustee for six years. Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. on Monday, April 23, at Stanfill Funeral Home with a Funeral Service beginning at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Miami Memorial Park.

5-8-07 Louis finally reached me today with the sad news. Charlie remodeled our house from 2004-2006 and we had a great time with each other over the course of the work. I saw him about 6 weeks ago for coffee at the house and I am so grateful for that! I will raise a toast in his honor tonight. He was a terrific guy and I will miss him. Please accept our condolences and best wishes to your family.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

You will be missed more than words can express, as you have been such a loving and guiding light for Barbara. I know all the wonderful memories you leave behind will help comfort her in the years to come. You are once again with Irene and Linda, who I know welcomed you with open arms.
