Charlie Hayes Roberson

5-8-07 Louis finally reached me today with the sad news. Charlie remodeled our house from 2004-2006 and we had a great time with each other over the course of the work. I saw him about 6 weeks ago for coffee at the house and I am so grateful for that! I will raise a toast in his honor tonight. He was a terrific guy and I will miss him. Please accept our condolences and best wishes to your family.

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

You will be missed more than words can express, as you have been such a loving and guiding light for Barbara. I know all the wonderful memories you leave behind will help comfort her in the years to come. You are once again with Irene and Linda, who I know welcomed you with open arms. May you all have everlasting peace and happiness.
