CHARLOTTE WILKERSON MOWBRAY

Charlotte Wilkerson Mowbray passed away August 29, 2012, at the Oaks at Mayview in Raleigh, NC. Charlotte was born on September 25, 1922, in Baltimore, MD.

She was a Financial Secretary of Astral Travel Service in Wilmington, NC. A long time Member of and Volunteer at St. Andrews Covenant Presbyterian Church in Wilmington, NC. She was also a member of Cape Fear Garden Club Wilmington, NC.

Charlotte enjoyed years of activities with family and friends at Cape Fear Country Club in Wilmington, NC.

Mrs. Mowbray is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, John E. Mowbray.

She is survived by her sons Barry Mowbray and wife Mary Lawson of Raleigh, NC and Ken Mowbray and wife Susan of Wrightsville Beach, NC; grandsons David Mowbray and wife Chris of Raleigh, NC, Brian Mowbray and wife Tricia of Chicago, Il, and Adam Mowbray of Wrightsville Beach, NC; granddaughters Margaret Mowbray White and husband Evan of Raleigh, NC and Anna Mowbray and fiancé John Bridgers of Goldsboro, NC; step grandsons Brad Breeding and wife Courtney of Raleigh, NC, and Bryan Breeding of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren Piper and Owen; step grandchildren Ella, Paige, and Bailey; and great-grandchildren Dylan, Ryder, and Alexander.

The Family wishes to expresses their appreciation to the staff of Sunrise of Raleigh and the Oaks at Mayview for their dedicated and professional care.

A Memorial Service will be held at Oleander Memorial Gardens in Wilmington at a later date. Memorials may be made to St Andrews Covenant Church in Wilmington, NC.
