DELLA LANIER Obituary
Della Rose Brown Lanier, 55, of Bolivia, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2012, at her home after a long battle against cancer. Ms. Lanier was born December 31, 1956, in Southport the daughter of the late Henry Alderman Brown, Jr. and Anna Jean Bowling Brown. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter Brianna Lanier and a brother Joseph Earl Brown. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter and sister.
Surviving are her son, Bryan Lanier and wife Heather of Boiling Spring Lakes; three grandchildren, Hunter, Brandon, and Ashlynn; two brothers, Jacky Brown and Henry Brown; and three sisters Karin Lewis, Sissy Rogers Freeman, and Kimberly Knox.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday at Bethel United Methodist Church in Bolivia with Reverend Mark D. Murphy officiating.
