ELIZABETH MCLAUCHLIN HUNTER Elizabeth McLauchlin Hunter died January 5, 2015 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Lifecare Center. She is survived by her husband, Mike Hunter, son Kyle and wife Rachel of Raleigh, NC, and son Jared of Wrightsville Beach, NC. She is also survived by her mother, Jean McLauchlin, her sisters, Ethel Hagan and Ruth Holmes, and her brother Henry McLauchlin and wife Amy, and several nieces and nephews. Her father, Henry McLauchlin, preceded her in death. Elizabeth was born in Fayetteville, NC and graduated from UNCW with a degree in accounting. She worked in the office of Wetherill Family Dentistry for the past five years. Elizabeth died as she lived, filled with grace, committed to her love of God, and dedicated to the service of others. She was an inspiration to every person whose path she crossed. She will be remembered for her contagious smile, her warm and gentle spirit, and her generous heart. Elizabeth's family wishes to thank the many people who have loved and supported them throughout her journey. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Christ Community Church, 4555 Fairview Dr., Wilmington, NC where she was a devoted member.
