It was an honor for us to be counted among the people Elwood called "friend" - it was not a word he used lightly. God brings different people into our lives for different reasons, and I believe one reason God brought Elwood into our lives was so that we could also know his wonderful family. His great love for all of you was so much a part of who he was. He will always have a special place in our hearts. Rest in Peace, dear friend.

Peace be with you Brother Elwood as you go home! The plaque you have reading MOTTO TO LIVE BY " Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming, "WOO HOO, what a ride!" Says it all! Peace be with your family and friends, Fraternally yours Brother Roger and family.
