Emory Harker Obituary

Emory Lee Harker, Sr., 67, of Wilmington, NC, died, Friday, June 29, 2007, at Cypress Pointe Rehabilitation and Health Care Centre.
He was born in Wilmington, NC, August 27, 1939, son of the late Claude Harker, Sr. and Grace Franks Harker.
Mr. Harker was a ceramic tile setter and owner of Emory Harker Tile in Wilmington. He was a member of Cape Fear Presbyterian Church and had served in the National Guard.
Surviving is his wife, Patricia Ramsey Harker; a son, Emory Lee Harker, Jr. of Wilmington; a daughter Tammy Sopraseuth and husband Dia of Grove Port, OH; a brother, Claude H. Harker and wife Shirley of Wilmington; and four grandchildren, Kassy, Brandon, Cameron, and Olivia. A sister, Janet Baggett preceded him in death.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2007, at Oleander Memorial Gardens by May Craven and Rev. Mark Baggett.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel.

He was a fine man! He knew his stuff when he did tile work! His beloved wife Pat went to join him 0n Saturday 12/7/2024. She , too, was a wonderful person, I had known her for many many years! God bless that reunion
