Dear God,

I remember the many conversations on life and love between my grandmother and I. She's always considers others before herself, making sure that they are taking care of..."Want me to make you something to eat?", "Are you cold?","Let me get you a blanket".

When someones with you for so long you forget that their spirit has to move on. Even still, everytime the sunshine breaks through the clouds or a nice warm breeze flows by I know its her spirit, its just a reminder that she's still with me watching over. So God thank you for giving me the opportunity to have such a wonderful woman in my life. I know her light will further the beauty of heaven.

Love Always,
Tracie Davis

Grandma,

I love you so very much and miss you already. I can feel your presence in my heart and see your sweet smile so crystal clear. You called everyone affectionately "baby" and everyone thought of you as their second mama or dear friend. You were 78 when I was born and I thank God for the 27 years I had with you. Many people are saying goodbye to loved ones at that age but God saw fit for you to stay a little while longer and help raise us. I cherish the memories of having you as a constant presence in my life. Trust that our conversations will always continue through journal and pen...you were always a great listener:)

May God bless and always keep you near and bless all those who have surrounded this family with love and support; I know you would be grateful.

Love Always,
Danita J Davis
