Doug was an awesome neighbor, he was so happy with Kathy, loved traveling. Always talked about his grandchildren, how proud he was with their choices in life. Going to miss him. My prayers are with his family.

I am very sorry to hear of Doug's passing. I always enjoyed working with Doug at the NCDOT. He was kind, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable in his job. He was willing to share what he knew with others. Doug left a positive influence on many people.
