Howard Whiteted Obituary
WHITETED, SR.
Howard Lee Whiteted, Sr., 81, of Wilmington, NC, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, December 16, 2009, while at Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCareCenter, Wilmington.
He was born in Warren County, OH, July 3, 1928, son of the late Lee Whiteted and Helen Christman Whiteted.
Howard worked with Wilmington Shipping Company for over thirty years. He was a Pender County farmer in the Scotts Hill Community since the 70's, selling vegetables for years and hay to the locals. He was a very hard worker, loved the outdoors, and was always willing to help others in the community.
Surviving are five children, Terri Langley, Alan Whiteted (Deborah), Tina Best (Dale), Howard Whiteted, Jr. (Louise), and Larry Whiteted (Kelly); six grandchildren, David Whiteted, Michael Best, Lee Whiteted, Scott Whiteted, Kayla Langley, and Chelsea Whiteted; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Beverly Phelps; a brother, Monte Whiteted; and his two canine buddies, Dumplin and Prissy. A sister, Carol Diablo, preceded him in death.
The family wishes to thank Woodbury Wellness for the love and great care given to Mr. Whiteted, and to Lower Cape Fear Hospice for their excellent and compassionate care.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, December 20, 2009, at Andrews Mortuary Hampstead Chapel, 17730 Hwy. 17 North, Hampstead, NC.

I was sorry to hear about Howard's passing. I hope he felt peace in the end and that you and Kayla can find comfort at this time in your lives. I know how much you loved your dad.
