I look at my son Connor and think "what a good man he's become". It takes several influences on a child for them to grow to a good man. Jason was one of those who had a influence on my son...Thank You Jason. Mike

We are so saddened to hear this unexpected news. Our entire family loved to hear his voice come over the loud speaker at Laney soccer games, and looked forward to hear what great nickname the players would receive. Sending prayers to the entire family.

As a member of the Coast Guard team that worked to provide support to Mr. Hunt's medical emergency, we were all saddened to learn that he did not survive. I offer my condolences to family and friends and especially to the skipper of the vessel who showed remarkable seamanship and situational awareness despite the stress of the situation. His communication and focus was spot on in his efforts to save his friend.

Time he called me a "crybaby". He said " you take the good with the bad. No matter how much "bad" there is, eventually you will get into the "good".
I knew from that moment he was a friend who wanted me to push myself to be the best person I could be, no matter the circumstances.
I learned so much from Jason over the past five years that we knew one another and I looked forward to everyday we did business. I swear I learned something new every time we conversed and was always fresh in my mind months later.
I spoke about him often to people that didn't know him, because to me he was just great! and wise! He was truely a friend to me, and I will miss him dearly.

Many of you have already heard the sad news of Jason's passing while doing something he really loved.
I have always considered Jason a friend from the moment we met. He was someone who enjoyed the outdoors and loved to share it with you. I remember when I first met Jason, out at the little trailer at Jerry's hunting camp. My son and I were not familiar with the terrain and wildlife habits. He took us under his wing and taught us, especially Connor, many valuable things; not only about hunting and fishing, but life lessons as well.
He was very dedicated to his family and loved them very much. Jason has the biggest heart of anyone I know and he was a very generous and giving person. He put people in the center of everything he did and never gave up on anyone who may have had some struggles. I always admired his attitudealways smiling and grinning. He had a special talent in caring for people and never looking down on anyone
Everyone that knew Jason can talk about how he positively touched people's lives. There is no question we have lost a great man, father, friend, and most of all, a Super Person.
Our loss is Heaven's gain. Thoughts and prayers are with you.
