Jerry Franklin Bundy

JERRY FRANKLIN BUNDY Jerry Franklin Bundy, 71, of Wilmington, NC died Wednesday, January 6, 2015 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Born January 3, 1945 in Greenville, KY, he was the son of the late Benjamin Franklin Bundy, Sr. and Bertha Elizabeth Revlett Bundy. Jerry was a veteran of the United States Army where he was stationed at Camp Hovey and Camp Casey in Seoul, South Korea. After the Army, he worked as a carpenter and later owned a small business in construction for more than 15 years. After construction he managed the family owned sports collectible business. In his leisure, he enjoyed being outdoors, especially gardening, fishing, hunting and grilling. He is survived by his son, Michael Bundy of Charlotte, NC; his grandson, Alex Bundy; his former wife, Carol Anderson Bundy of Jonesville, NC; his brother, Benjamin Franklin Bundy, Jr., of MA; his sisters, Patricia Ann Bundy-Blanchard of FL and Carolina Ruth Bundy-Proctor of NH; and several nieces and nephews. Pastor Terry Hunt will lead us in A Celebration of Life, 3PM January 30, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home 615 W Main St Elkin, NC.
