Kelly Weaver Obituary

KELLY LENNON WEAVER

Kelly Lennon Weaver left to join our Saviour on Thursday, April 28, 2011. She had a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. She was a loving mother, devoted daughter and sister and a supportive and inspiring friend to many. Through her struggle with cancer, Kelly was able to educate and inform so many about this disease. In the process, she touched so many lives with her unconditional love, caring and gratitude of others. She embraced life and gave so much hope to those who knew her and many that did not, but knew of her life. We all should rejoice that she is now in the arms of our Lord.

Kelly leaves behind her daughters, Georgia and Sadie, the father of their children, Jeffrey Weaver, her parents, Alice and Alan DeMart and John and Catherine Lennon, sister, Christy West and husband Mike West; brother, Jason Lennon and grandparents, Mozelle Markiton and Frances Bridgers, niece and nephew Kayla Daye West and Austin West and many cousins, uncles and aunts.

The family will receive friends at Crossroads Fellowship Church 2721 E Millbrook Rd. Raleigh, NC, from 6-8pm on Friday April 29, 2011. The Celebration of Life service will begin at 12:30pm Saturday, April 30, 2011 at the church with Green Burial to follow at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting for donations for a video documentary about Kelly's life, that family is having being made for her daughters. Donations can be sent directly to attention: Gardner Reynolds Barton Creek Productions, LLC 817 Mount Vernon Church Road, Raleigh, NC 27628.

Kelly lived an extraordinary life that has not only made a huge impact on all who knew her but also for those of us who only really knew her through our shared faith in God the Father, Jesus our Savoir and the prayers offered up to the throne on her behalf through the Holy Spirit. Prayers now being lifted up for Georgia & Sadie who come from a family heritage of Faith & Courage in the face of adversity. May your testimony be that of your mothers as you walk through this world. It is a mothers reward to know that she taught her children to love and serve the Lord.
