LESSIE HUNTER OGLE Hartsville, SC. Funeral services for Lessie Hunter Ogle, 79, will be held at 11:00 Sat., Sept. 21, 2013 at Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Ed Griggs will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends Fri., Sept. 20, from 5 until 7 pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058. Mrs. Ogle, widow of Gene Ogle, passed away on Wed., Sept. 18, 2013. Born in Chesterfield County, SC, she was a daughter of the late George W. and Margaret Tyner Hunter. She was a devoted wife and mother, and was an excellent cook and baker. She retired from NC Natural Gas Company where she worked in customer service for many years. Surviving are her daughters, Pamela M. Ogle of Hartsville, SC, Holly S. Ogle of Wilmington, NC; sister, Lula H. Howle, brothers Allen Hunter, Paul Hunter, Rhenn Hunter, and Gene Hunter, all of Hartsville, SC. She was preceded in death by her sister, Lucille H.
