Perry Brittain Obituary
BOLIVIA, NC -- Mr. Perry Scott Brittain, age 44, of 1950 Midway Road, Bolivia, died Saturday, November 28, 2009, in Okeechobee, Florida.
Mr. Brittain was born in Southport, NC, on May 1, 1965, and was the son of Hubert and Lois Richardson Brittain of the home. Perry was a Pipe Fitter. He was an avid NASCAR fan and especially Bobby Allison and his family. Perry loved and lived life to the fullest and was loved by his daughter, parents, brother, sister, nieces and nephew and many special friends.
Survivors in addition to his parents are his daughter, Brittany Lee Brittain of Wooster, Ohio; brother, Allen Brittain and wife Cindy of Southport; sister, Meleta Humbert and husband Glenn of Shallotte; maternal grandmother, Ruth Richardson of Bolivia; very dear friend and companion, Heather Fisher of Okeechobee, Florida; former spouse and friend, Delinda Tanger of Temperance, Michigan; four nieces, Maranda, Katelyn, Morgan, Maddi and a nephew, Alex; numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 3, 3009, at 2 pm at Antioch Baptist Church with Reverend Monroe Cooke and Reverend Anthony Clemmons officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the home of Hubert and Lois Brittain, 1950 Midway Road, Bolivia and also one hour prior the funeral service at the church.
Mr. Brittain will lie in state at Peacock-Newnam & White Funeral Service, 1411 N. Howe Street, Southport.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Antioch Baptist Church, Shriner's Children Hospital, or Breast Cancer Research.

I worked with Perry about 9 years ago, he was a very sweet man. I am deeply sorry to hear about everyones loss. I always will remember him, he always talked about his family especially his children.

Heather and Family, We were lucky to have know Perry for to brief of a time. Heather and Perry was our next door neighbors in Okeechobee Fl for several months. He was always there to lend a helping hand. We will cherish the memories of the boat rides and cookouts. We were looking forward to Perry and Heather moving back home here to NC, where we could continue our friendship. I guess the Lord had bigger and better things in store. He will always be in our thoughts and prayers. You could not have asked for a more loyal fried.
