Here it is a year later since Ralph's passing and sitting here thinking about square dance callers and songs they sang and of course I thought of Ralph and my favorite Tennessee Stud.

We knew Ralph and Mary Ann from square dancing. We have danced for many years all over the country and can say that Ralph was one of our favorite callers. He always was ten steps ahead of us. We have so many fond memories of good times over the last 14 years. God Bless his soul and give Mary Ann peace.

So sorry to hear. Ralph was a dear sweet soul and we enjoyed him so much. He helped us so much with Baltimore 2000 and was a wealth of knowledge - I was just reading his history on great flag. He was a wonderful man and will be truly missed. Mary Ann you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Mary Ann and family,
I am so sorry. Mom passed away December 1st. We always had so much fun running in to the two of you at the National Square Dance Conventions. If Heaven has Dippin Dots, I know they are both enjoying that sweet little treat we joked about so often. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dr. Kornegay was a professor to my wife Unique and I at Cape Fear CC in 2007. He was very quick-witted and kind, and a very memorable teacher! My mother-in-law Pam Kimmel worked at the Pine Valley Walgreens and fondly remembers enjoying their conversations when he and his wife came to the store. He will be missed.

He was definitely a force to be reckoned with on the halls at CFCC where he taught for many years. A very sharp and witty professional colleague of mine, he made me smile a lot with his sharp observations. Always congenial and kind to me.
