SARAH HEDRICK Sarah Frances Hedrick, 88, of Wilmington, went home to be with her Lord Saturday, November 16, 2013. Sarah was born June 13, 1925 in Dadeville, AL, daughter of the late Harvey and Hattie Taylor Sanders. Her husband, Leonard W. Hedrick, and a daughter, April Horne, preceded her in death. Sarah had three brothers, James Sanders, Dowdell Sanders, and Leroy Sanders, and three sisters, Virginia Sanders, Ruby Sanders Isaac, and Mary Sanders Fuselier who also preceded her in death. Mrs. Hedrick always went out of her way to help others and was always there for you. She will be missed by all. She is survived by a son, James Butz; son-in-law, Benjamin N. Horne III; three grandsons, Benjamin N. Horne IV, Paul M. Butz, and Jamie L. Butz; granddaughter, Barbara Bailey; three great-granddaughters, McKenzie Minx, Lauren Butz, and Madeline Butz; and two great-granddaughters, Johnny C. Bailey and Bradley Butz. A funeral service will be held at 2pm Thursday, November 21, 2013, at Andrews Valley Chapel with Rev. Rudy Shepard officiating. Prior to the service, the family will receive friends from 1pm until the service hour. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
