Alyssa Walzer Obituary
A Celebration of Life will be Monday, November 3, will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle.
Alyssa was born in Spring Valley on April 16, 1990 to David and Sharon (Walzer) Blackburn. She went to school to be a cosmetologist.
Alyssa is survived by her mother, Sharon Glynn of Peru; four children, Olivia, Maddi, Brody, and Alex; four sisters, Lola Blackburn of Wenona, Julie (Brian) Chasteen of La Moille, Emily (Dustin) Davis of Spring Valley, and Jade Blackburn of Peru; two brothers, Earl (Audrey) Blackburn of Spring Valley and Kyle (Alex) Gutierrez of New Lennox; nieces; and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, David Blackburn and stepfather Gary Glynn

This is so sad. When Alyssa was a little girl, she and Emily and Jade would come to the Spring Valley Library where I work and would spend hours there. My prayers are with the family.
