Robert Camanini Obituary
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at St. Hyacinth's Church, LaSalle with Rev. Paul Carlson officiating. Burial will follow in Valley Memorial Park, Spring Valley. Visitation will be 9-10:50 AM Tuesday at the church. Arrangements are entrusted to the Mueller-Pagani Funeral Home, LaSalle.
Mr. Camanini was born May 21, 1937 at St. Margaret's Hospital in Spring Valley to Aldo and Jean (Koper) Camanini. He was a gradaute of LPO Junior College. He married June R. Maggi on June 14, 1958 at Holy Rosary Church in LaSalle.
Mr. Camanini was retired from Hunstman Chemical where he worked as division manager. He was a member of the Spring Valley Boat Club and the Idlers Car Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cars, and racing cars. He especially enjoyed traveling and was blessed to have many special trips throughout the years.
Survivors include his wife, June; three children, Laura (Kenneth) Schweickert of Oglesby, Robert P. (Shela) Camanini of Augusta, GA, and Lana (Matthew) Lamboley of Tonica; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Pallbearers will be Ken Schweickert, Matt Lamboley, Zach Schweickert, Nick Augustyniak, Vito Lenhart, and Randy Rossi.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
