William Wyatt Obituary

William C. Wyatt, 75, of Varna, passed away October 8, 2024 in OSF Richard L Owens Home in Peoria.

Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Monday October 14, 2024 in Metamora Mennonite Church in Metamora with Rev. Eric Potter officiating. Burial will be in Roanoke Mennonite Cemetery with full military services conducted by the McNabb/Magnolia American Legion Post 0254. Visitation will be in the church from 9:00 AM Monday until time of services. The Hurst Funeral Home in Wenona is entrusted with Bill's services.

William was born in Collinsville on December 4, 1948 to Norman and Irene (Chamness) Wyatt. He served with the United States Marines in Vietnam, where he did two tours.

He married Judy Egli on August 5, 1981. He was a Transportation Operator for 35 years. After retiring, he worked at Casey's in Varna doing what he loved and making the best donuts and socializing with the people. Bill was a member of the Metamora Mennonite Church and was a Village of Varna Trustee for 7 ½ years.

Bill is survived by his wife Judy of Varna; one son Sean Speiden of Warner Robins, GA.; four grandchildren, Michael Martin, Jennifer Edwards, Kaylee Mann and Brandon Norton; two great-grandchildren, Emily Edwards and Kendyll Edwards.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Lisa Caylor, one son Brandon Wyatt, grandson David, siblings, Butch, Larry and Eugene Wyatt and Lisa Beatte.
