Eddie Wigfall Obituary

UNION CITY, Ga. -- Mr. Eddie Wigfall passed into rest Sunday, August 9, 2015, at his residence. He was the son of the late Catherine and Kenneth Wigfall and attended school in Bulloch County, Georgia. Eddie was married to the late Jean Wigfall and moved to New Jersey in the early 60s. He worked at Whippany Paper Mill during the 70s and retired from Orange Garden Supply in Orange, N.J., in 2003 and later moved to Atlanta, Ga., in 2005.
Eddie enjoyed cooking, gardening, playing cards, watching old westerns and spending time with his children, grandchildren and other family and friends.
Eddie leaves to cherish his memory: five daughters, Jeanine Miller–Dennis, Patricia Wigfall-Petty, Roseanne Wigfall, Marilyn Wigfall and Michelle Crockett; two sons, Terry Wigfall and John Wigfall; three sons-in-law, Alan Dennis, Roy Petty, Kenneth Ricks; one daughter-in-law, Tamera Smith-Wigfall; 15 grandchildren, Stacey, Anthony, Alan, Ashley, Kendra, Kyle, Roy, Kenneth, Wesley, Ikeiyah, Brandon, Imani, Eron, Ebony and Taijhun; three great-grandchildren, Gracie, Zoe and Vincent; one sister, Thelma (Robert) Armstrong, Register, Ga.; one brother, Thomas Wigfall, Statesboro, Ga.; and one aunt, Mamie Cewanie–Mincey, South Bend, Ind.; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The body will lie in state for one hour prior to the service. There will be no viewing after the eulogy.
The funeral service for Mr. Wigfall will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, August 21, 2015, at the New Bethlehem Baptist Church, Register, Ga., with the Rev. Michael Moore, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
