Natalie Sherwood Obituary

BERRIEN SPRINGS, Mich. - Natalie Ann Sherwood, beloved mother of Robert (Sue) Sherwood of Statesboro and Mary Ann (Doug) Sauve of Niles, Mich.; grandmother of Anne Marie (Andy) Aldred of Statesboro and Michael Casner, Elizabeth McIntyre and Karen Willock; great-grandmother of Drew Aldred and Roland, Brandon, Lydia and Piper Willock; sister of Edward and Dale Proud.
The funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at the Berrien Springs United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at Allred Funeral Home, 212 South Main Street, Berrien Springs, Mich., or leave messages for the family online www.allredfuneralhome.com.
Natalie was born January 29, 1921, in Buchanan, Mich., the daughter of Gearld and Grace Proud. She graduated from Buchanan High School in 1939. She married Robert Sherwood on January 27, 1940, in Berrien Springs. She had been employed at Simplicity Pattern Company in Niles for over 25 years before her retirement. She enjoyed quilting and spending winters in Florida fishing and playing bingo with friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one sister and three brothers.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to Lakeland Specialty Hospital Auxiliary, 6418 Dean's Hill Road, Berrien Center, MI 49102.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
