Allan Jones Obituary

Allan Jones Allan Jones went to be with the Lord on November 27, 2011 at the age of 85. He was born on May 21, 1926 in Aransas Pass, Texas and spent his childhood in Ingleside. Outside of work, he loved to go camping and fishing. He spent many happy summers camping along Cypress Creek at Blue Hole in Wimberley and also during Camp Ben McCullough Reunion in Driftwood. He was an active member of Dripping Springs Methodist Church and enjoyed making the biscuits at the Men's breakfast when he was able and also helped out at the Helping Hands Ministry and food bank. Allan is preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Edna Faye Jones, his sister Mildred Rush, his brother Leonard Jones and a son Ronald Jones. He is survived by a devoted wife Norma Watson Jones as well as three children, Leonard Jones (Mary Lou), Theresa Berry (Jesse) and Cheryl Fair (Ken), grandchildren W. My wonderful Uncle, you will be greatly missed. You were a blessing to me and to the rest of the family and I loved you dearly. I know that you are with the Lord and with Mom and that she was glad to be reunited with her "best friend". I thank you for all that you have given to me in my life and for your guidance and love. There will not be a day that goes by that I will not think about you and miss you. You were me HERO and role model for a lasting and loving marriage. .........Susie
