Arthur Leon Wright, 54, of Kyle, TX, beloved son, husband, father and grandfather, passed away in San Marcos, TX, on Saturday, November 22, 2003. He was born in Austin, TX, on October 21, 1949, to Arthur Wright Jr. and Clara (Dixon) Wright. Arthur worked at the United States Post Office for 11 years. He was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church in Austin, TX. During the Vietnam Era, he served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He loved football, especially the Hays High School Rebels. His family will miss him and forever carry his memory in their hearts. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Beverly Wright of Kyle, TX; his parents; three sons, Keegan Clark of Abilene, TX, Christopher Clark of San Marcos, TX, and Joshua Wright of Kyle, TX; daughter, Adrian Marie Wright of Austin, TX; two sisters, Connie Brown of Pflugerville, TX and Sharon D. Wright of Austin, TX; and six wonderful grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 26, at Pennington Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m., Friday, November 28, at St. John Tabernacle, 7501 Blessing Ave., in Austin, TX, with Rev. Dennis Lockhart officiating.
