Anna Zagora Obituary
February 4, 2004
Anna (Makoski) Zagora, 88, a resident of ManorCare Nursing Home, Kingston, formerly of Plymouth, died Wednesday.
Born May 27, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Katherine Rinkawich Makoski. She was a 1934 graduate of Plymouth High School. She was employed in the garment industry, and Val-Kare, Kingston. She was a member of St. Casimir's Church, Lyndwood, the Silver and Gold Club of St. Vincent's Church, the Shawnee Senior Citizens Club and the St. Mary's Church Citizens Friendship Club. She was a member and union counselor and secretary of health and welfare for the International Ladies Garment Worker's Union.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John; and son, John R.
Surviving are a daughter, Karen Medura, Keller, Texas; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Adeline Voytush, Illinois; and a niece.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday from the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 W. Main St., Plymouth, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Casimir's Church, Lyndwood. Interment will be in St. Casimir's Cemetery, Muhlenburg.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the service time Saturday.
