We have suffered a great loss in the passing of Sister Barbara Nivens. It was my privilege to attend church with her at True Vine Indrpendent Baptist Church in Spencer Oklahoma. She was a loving , kind & caring Christian woman who resonated the beauty & love of Jesus both inside & out. It was because of her love & encouragement that I became an active member of the church choir. She was one of my biggest cheerleaders, and always encouraged me to hang tough & trust God, regardless of my circumstances. I truly love her & will greatly miss her. Heaven has gained an Angel. Big Daddy & Family, you all are in my thoughts & prayers. May The Lord grant you an extra portion of Grace & mercy during your time of bereavement. I'm praying for you.

Coach Nivens and family, you have our deepest sympathy for the loss of your beautiful wife. I taught with her at Crockett High School in 1985. She was such a joy and personal inspiration to me during my teaching career at Crockett High School. She taught me to learn to speak up for myself and don't let people mistreat you. She is in God's hands now and I can still see that beautiful smile. May God continue to hold you up in strength, prayer, and guidance.
