Bernard SAMUELSON Obituary

SAMUELSON, Bernard Douglas "Barny" On Dec. 1, 2017 Barny was welcomed into our Lord's arms. On Mar. 3, 1958 he came to this life to the love of Barny Sr. and Dawn Samuelson. In spite of the challenges that life gave him was always looking for the positive and dealing with the negative. Being curious and gregarious was natural for him and even in more trying time these qualities shined thru. His inner strength was to be admired. When he arrived in heaven he was greeted by his parents Barny Sr. and Dawn Samuelson, both sets of grandparents, Wayne and Aleta Watts and Phillip and Ana Samuelson. He was also proceeded by his sisters Karen and Suzette Samuelson and his cousin Skipper Sammons. He is survived by his brother Keith and his wife Debbie Samuelson, his sister Denise and her husband Jeff Colburn, his stepfather William Jokimaki and his nephews Eric, Kyle and his wife Kerrigan and Alex. He is also survived by his Aunt Bess Ames, Cousin David and wife Diane Sammons and cousin Paula and Bob Butler as well as their families and friends. We love and will miss you greatly. You fought the good fight, Barny, and your courage will always be an inspiration to me. I will remember the good times playing pool and watching our Horns and Cowboys with Joe and Dawn, and just talking and sharing stories about our lives growing up. I laugh out loud every time I think of you telling me the story of 'The White Man' -- the fictitious character you created, and one that had the kids in your neighborhood believing was real. So, so funny! Grateful to have seen you a few times in recent months and just hanging out with you and Joe. Rest in peace my friend...I will miss you.
