Beverly Stueber Obituary

Beverly Jane Stueber, age 90, passed away on October 10, 2025, at Arbor Terrace in Lakeway, Texas.
Born on April 25, 1935, in Starbuck, Minnesota, Beverly graduated from Starbuck High School in 1953, and from Macalester College (St. Paul, Minnesota) in 1956 in just three years. In 1957, she married John "Jack" Stueber of Red Wing, Minnesota. Jack's career with Gulf/Chevron Corporation led them to live in several cities including White Bear Lake and New Brighton, Minnesota; Des Moines, Iowa; St. Louis, Missouri; Tulsa, Oklahoma; Houston; and Benicia, California, before retiring in Austin, Texas.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas (Roy) and Cora (Oselia) Pederson Olson, and her husband Jack Stueber. She is survived by her daughters and their spouses: Julie Jackson (Terry) and Cathy Hall (Doug); her grandchildren: Parker Hall (Jessica), Janie Hall Page (Miller), Justin Jackson, Jett Jackson, and Crosby Gustafson Espinoza (James); and her great-grandchildren: Pierce Hall, Selah Page, Fisher Page, Olson Hall, and Elaine Espinoza.
Beverly was a Kindergarten teacher, church secretary, and Welcome Wagon associate. Beverly and Jack were active members of many churches throughout their lives. They taught Sunday School, volunteered with Hill Country Ministries, and whenever there was a need they met it. They delivered wedding cakes for Lone Star Bakery-often collecting humorous stories along the way. Beverly was a devoted fan of "Days of Our Lives," even learning to stream it daily. She also had a deep love for sports and faithfully cheered on the Texas Longhorns, Minnesota Vikings, and Minnesota Twins.
In 2017, Beverly and Jack moved to Arbor Terrace at Lakeway. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the Arbor Terrace staff for their compassionate care, and to Magnolia Hospice for their kindness and care over the past five months.
Beverly's Celebration of Life will be on November 1 at 10:00 a.m. at Triumphant Love, Lutheran Church in Austin, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association or Jack's Garden at Triumphant Love Lutheran Church (Austin, TX).

Yesterday

Though I didn´t know Beverly, I have a wonderful friendship with daughter Julie, and I pray for comfort for her from our Creator God who sustains us through all worldly events that try our faith with overwhelming sadness. Rest in peace Beverly and Julie, you are in my prayers in this sad and difficult time

Yesterday

Bev was one of the kindest and loving person I ever met. Her smile would light up a room. Memories of our beloved Jack and Hal assembling Crosby`s play scape and acting as the old fart moving company will be times I will always cherish. Bev and I would stand around and laugh as a wrangled play scape parts or furniture.
