Ann M. Stueber, 87, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 1, 2025. She was born on May 13, 1937 in Clay Banks, WI to the late Walter and Wilma (Pape) Hettiger. Ann married the love of her life, Bob Stueber in 1954. Together they raised six children, Scott, Sandee, Susan, Jeffrey, Joseph, and Judine.
Ann enjoyed reading, fishing, and spending time at her cottage in Silver Cliff. Ann was a nurse at St. Vincent's Hospital in the oncology department for many years. She took pride in caring for others, and that was also reflected in her personal life. She even helped care for other residents at Emerald Bay, never forgetting her nursing skills.
Ann loved church and loved being a part of the Our Lady of Lourdes Community. Even if she couldn't get to church, she still felt a strong pull to her faith.
She is survived by her children, Scott (Marsha) Stueber, Susan Brunette, Jeffrey (Crystal) Stueber, Joseph (Dana) Stueber, and Judine (Allen) Hansen. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Dana (Matt), Andrew (Franchesca), Kristine (Hunter), Christopher, Cheryl (Luke), Gregory (Ashley), Matthew, Lucas, Megan (Bill), Morgan (Adam), Nick (Ellie), Breanna, and Michael. She is also survived by her 20 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter. She is further survived by her sister Jane (Darrell), her in-laws, Bernice, Peggy, and Bill, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bob, her parents, her daughter Sandee, and her brother Doug. She was further preceded by her sisters-in-law Sue and Judy, brothers-in-law Lynn, Lee and Richard, son-in-law Jeff, and her special friend Roger.
Family and friends may call for visitation on Friday, March 7, 2025 at Our Lady of Lourdes, 1305 Lourdes Ave, De Pere, WI 54115 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin immediately following the visitation with Fr. Jim Baraniak O.Pream. officiating.
A heartfelt thank you to the dedicated staff at Emerald Bay and St. Croix Hospice for their unwavering kindness and compassion provided to Ann in her final days.
