Christopher James Mayotte was taken from us too soon.
He was born to Joan Mayotte (Cochenet) and Laurence Mayotte, and was lovingly raised with the guidance and devotion of his stepfather, Kenny Roskom, who played a deeply meaningful role in his life.
Christopher attended Pulaski High School and went on to build a career as a truck driver, a profession that reflected his strong work ethic, independence, and dedication. Outside of work, he found joy in life’s simple and meaningful moments. He loved bass fishing, boating, working on cars, tackling home improvement projects, and most of all spending time with his family, especially his beloved grandsons, Owen, Rucker and Bodie. Who brought him immeasurable pride and happiness.
He is survived by his son, Matthew (Kelly) Mayotte of Winneconne, Wisconsin; and his cherished grandsons Owen (11), Rucker (6), and Bodie (3). He is also survived by his siblings Craig (Linda) Mayotte, Linda Skarda, Rene Walker, and Laureen (Jim) Hayden; as well as his nieces and nephews Megan, Aimee, Ashley, Amanda, Kim, Alex, Andrea, Alexa, and Arika. Christopher also leaves behind special friends who held a close place in his heart: the Kaiser family, Pat and Lori Johnson, and Peggy Stofferan.
He was preceded in death by his mother Joan Roskom, his stepfather Ken Roskom, his father Laurence Mayotte, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Christopher will be remembered for his willingness to lend a hand, his steady presence, and the genuine care he showed to those around him. His legacy lives on through the family he loved and the countless lives he touched.
Family and friends may gather on Saturday, February 21, at Cotter Funeral Home 860 N. Webster Ave. De Pere, WI from 12:00 P.M until 2:00 P.M, followed by words of remembrance to conclude the visitation.
The family respectfully asks for flowers not to be sent, but rather memorial donations be made to be used for the benefit of his grandchildren.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered
