I was privileged to be friends with Brian and to DJ with him for several years. I worked with him at several clubs and even at a day job. Brian and I shared an excitement and love for music as we spent most of our conversations discussing songs, remixes, and how much we enjoyed being a DJ. We shared an understanding about the music that very few do or know much about. The conversations always made sense to us and we didn’t have to explain ourselves as we had to for those that were not familiar with what we did. I will miss Brian as I feel that I have lost not only a friend but a partner. I admired Brian’s energy and excitement from when he played music to him simply telling a story. He will be missed.
