Condolences to all of his family. David was the first person to recruit me into libraries (Austin Public). I found him to be an extremely supportive boss and was probably the very best supervisor I ever had in my numerous years in libraries. I will always remember him for his kindness, understanding, and genuine willingness to accommodate and hear people out. Although I lost
track of David in recent years I still mourn the fact that we have lost him. There are so many positive things to remember about him. I will remember him as a supervisor and friend. Rolando Romo
