David Terrazas Obituary
Affectionately known as "Burger," David was the 13th of 16 children in a close-knit East Austin family whose love and faith shaped his warm and generous spirit. A talented athlete, he played football and softball through school and college, later competing semi-professionally with the Austin Texans. He continued sharing his love of sports at the PanAm Community Center, where he stayed active as both a player and referee.
David spent many years working at Image Printing, his family's business in Austin. Later, he relocated to Port Arthur and launched his own venture, David the Roofer, demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit and strong work ethic.
He built a joyful life surrounded by family, friends, and his three loyal dogs-Zeus, Lily, and Buster. David is remembered by his son Albert and a large extended family for his gentle humor, generosity, and big heart.
A service honoring David's life will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at the Assumption Cemetery Mausoleum, 3650 S I-35 Frontage Road, Austin, TX 78704. Allfaiths.com. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of a life well lived.
