Debbie Easley Obituary

Debbie Easley On Thursday, April 30, 2009, Debbie Easley passed away at Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland, Texas. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at Bellview Baptist Church in Midland with Rev. Terry Easley and Rev. Gerrid Bowen officiating. Debra Diane Easley was born August 17, 1957 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Ralph and Claudette Boling Moore. She was 51 years old at the time of death. In 1958 Ralph and Claudette moved their family to Kermit, Texas. Debbie graduated high school in Kermit and went on to study Music and Business Education at East Texas Baptist College in Marshall. On March 1, 1987 she began a twenty-year career with the Texas Workforce Commission in Midland. While in Midland she met the love of her life, Lewis F. Easley and the two were united in marriage on February 17, 1990 at Bellview Baptist Church. In 1999 the two moved to Austin to advance their careers. Becoming a successful Staff Services Officer with the Workforce Commission was the pinnacle of her career. Debbie retired on December 30, 2007 and returned to Midland in September 2008. In her spare time she loved collecting dolphins, reading novels and University of Texas and Dallas Cowboy football. Her father precedes Debbie in death. Survivors include her husband, Lewis of Midland; mother, Claudette Moore of Kermit; brothers, Tony Moore and wife Peggy of Arlington and Tim Moore and wife Linda of Kermit; nieces, Layla Moore of Lubbock and Brittany Moore of Arlington; nephews, Eddie Moore and wife April of Kermit and Kelby Moore and wife Amanda of Arlington; many extended family members and friends. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Attn: Gift Management Services, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75244 or to the Development Department for Guide Dogs for the Blind, PO Box 151200, San Rafael, CA 94915. Arrangements are under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Midland. Online condolences can be made at: www.npwelch.com

Lewis Easley & Family,
So long as we live, They too shall live, For they are now apart of us, As we remember them. May God be with the entire family through this time of sorrow. My husband and I still thank you and Debbie for the things you both did for our son.
