Deborah Schindler Obituary

(01/08/2003) Deborah Allen Schindler Debbie passed away Monday, January 6, 2003, at the age of 33, after a long, courageous fight against breast cancer. She was born February 28, 1969 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Debbie is survived by her beloved son, Charles Schindler, Jr.; her mother, Cladette Allen; her father and step-mother, Chester and Andra Allen; grandparents, Fred and Mickey Gunder and June Allen; half-sisters, Sarah and Stephanie Allen; half- brother, Stacey Allen; and her ex-step dad and friend, Hugh Campbell. She was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Clade D. Davis, Jr. and Jerry Allen; and her great-grandmother, Lola Abbott. Debbie worked many years in the Austin area as a staffing specialist for several temporary employment agencies, and really enjoyed getting to meet and work with so many people. She was very proud that she earned her PHR certification while undergoing radiation and chemo. Debbie loved to travel and especially skydiving. For many years she spent every spare minute at Skydive Temple in Salado, Texas where she made over 500 jumps and made many wonderful friends. Visitation hours will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8th at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2003 in the Chapel at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 3125 N. Lamar, Austin, TX 78705 - (512) 452-8811
